We are Girls Academic LEADERSHIP Academy! We offer a 7th period elective, Leadership, with our student council and Associated Student Body members. We also offer numerous leadership opportunities through our GALA Ambassadors, GALA Guides, media interviews, club leaders, event planners, etc.

Leadership students put on a Halloween Haunted House! All students can wear costumes to school (w/ costume dress code). One of the most fun days at GALA!

PEP RALLIES
As part of the Spirit Weeks, GALA Leadership plans the pep rallies to celebrate all of our sports teams as well as our Robotics teams.
GALA GUIDES & AMBASSADORS
GALA students can participate in being a GALA Tour Guide and a GALA Ambassador to VIP guests and for media events and interviews.

DANCES
GALA Leadership plans 3 dances throughout the school year, including the 8th grade Dance, Homecoming Dance, and the Junior/Senior Prom!

SPIRIT WEEK
GALA Leadership students plan the GALA spirt week. Past events have included: Crazy Hair Day, Pajama Day, Crazy Sock Day, Sunglasses Day, etc.

CLUB RUSH
In the fall of each year, GALA Leadership organizes a Club Rush where students can sign up to sponsor or be a member of a variety of different lunch clubs.
Other events include but are not limited to assisting with club events such as Black History Month, Hispanic Heritage Month, LGBTQ+ Month, Diversity Day, etc.

Students can apply for to assist the Mayor's office in community planning.
